Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use favorableodds.io, our free tools, or buy services, plans or products from Favorable Odds LLC ("Favorable Odds", "we"). By placing an order or using the site you agree to them. If something here is unclear, email hello@favorableodds.io before you buy.

Instant Services

Each Instant Service has the fixed scope and price shown on its page. Work outside that scope is quoted separately.
Delivery times are counted from when we confirm we have everything we need from you. We'll contact you if anything is missing.
If what we deliver doesn't match the scope described, tell us within 7 days and we'll fix it. If we can't, we'll refund what you paid for that service.
If you cancel before we start work, we'll refund you in full.

Care Plans and Bookkeeping plans

Plans renew automatically each month, or each year if you choose annual billing, and are charged in advance to your payment method on file.
You can cancel anytime at favorableodds.io/billing or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time in a period that has already started.
Monthly included time or transaction limits (for example, minutes of edits or transactions per month) don't roll over.
We may change plan prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next renewal after the notice.
Catch-Up Cleanup and other quoted work are priced in a written quote before we start.

Shop orders

Shop items are pre-orders and ship within 2–3 weeks of purchase to US addresses only. Shipping is a flat rate per order and sales tax is calculated at checkout.
You can cancel an order for a full refund any time before it ships.
If an item arrives damaged, defective or isn't what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund it.
For a different size, contact us within 14 days of delivery; unworn, unwashed items can be exchanged (return shipping is your responsibility unless we made a mistake).

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. If a payment is reversed or disputed, we may pause work or a plan until it's resolved; please contact us first so we can make it right.

Free tools: the Odd$ Tools License

Odd$ Ledger, Odd$ Vault, Odd$ Guard, Odd$ Tune and any other free tools on favorableodds.io (the "Tools") are owned by Favorable Odds LLC and licensed, not sold. By downloading, installing, opening or using a Tool, you agree to this license.

What you may do: use the Tools free of charge for personal use or inside your own business, on as many of your own devices as you like, and share links to favorableodds.io so others can get them.
What you may not do: sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, rehost or bundle the Tools or their downloads; publish modified versions; remove or change their names, logos or notices; or copy their code, design or content to make a competing product. Don't reverse engineer them except where the law expressly allows it. Odd$ Guard's script is published so you can read exactly what it does before you run it; that is for review, not reuse.
Published source code: where we publish a Tool's source code so you can check what it does (for example Odd$ Guard and Odd$ Tune), that code is covered by this license too. You may read it; it is source-available, not open source.
Your data: Odd$ Ledger and Odd$ Vault work on your device and don't send us your entries or files. You're responsible for keeping your own backups, including Odd$ Ledger backup files.
Not professional advice: Odd$ Ledger is a record-keeping tool, not financial, tax or legal advice. Odd$ Guard is an informational check, not antivirus software or a guarantee of security. Odd$ Tune cleans and adjusts Windows settings; use it at your own risk and keep a backup or restore point.
No warranty: the Tools are provided free, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limit on liability: because the Tools are free, to the fullest extent allowed by law our total liability for any claim related to them is limited to US $50.
Ending the license: this license ends automatically if you break it; you must then stop using and delete the Tools. We may update or discontinue a Tool at any time.

Trademarks, logos and designs

Favorable Odds™, Favorable Odd$™, the smiley-coin logo, Odd$ Ledger™, Odd$ Vault™, Odd$ Guard™, Odd$ Tune™ and "Master the odds. Design your destiny."™ are trademarks of Favorable Odds LLC. Nothing in these terms gives you the right to use them, including in product names, domain names, social media handles or ads, without our written permission. Linking to favorableodds.io and naming our tools accurately (for example, in a review) is fine.

Third-party software

Some Tools include open-source components that remain under their own licenses: the Barlow and IM FELL English fonts in Odd$ Ledger (SIL Open Font License 1.1), zip.js (BSD 3-Clause) and pdf-lib (MIT) in Odd$ Vault, and in the Windows build of Odd$ Tune, the Python runtime (Python Software Foundation License) and the PyInstaller bootloader (GPL 2.0 with its bootloader exception). Their licenses grant you rights to those components that this license does not restrict.

Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information, only share files and accounts you're allowed to share, and keep your own copies of anything important. We'll treat what you share as confidential and use it only to deliver the work.

Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Favorable Odds is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
